As the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world”, we are called to contribute to the flourishing of society.
We do this most effectively when we engage the political process.
JESUS CARES ABOUT YOUR POLITICS
BECAUSE HE CARES ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.
God’s Word is not silent about politcal issues, particularly those which are moral and ethical in nature.
The Bible says much about justice, human rights, poverty and the sanctity of life.
Churches should equip people to understand and engage these issues from a Christian perspective.
Beginning September 8, we are going to spend six weeks talking very specifically and practically about how Christians can engage in the political process in a manner that honors God and shows love to the world.
